Lesley 22nd April 2019

Lawrence was one of my students at the beginning of his social work career. Placed in a Jobcentre placement, he quickly applied his intelligent and empathetic personality to bear in supporting his unemployed service users with their wider issues of homelessness, drug and alcohol use, and specific educational needs. Lawrence felt that the power of advocacy underpinned his role as a practitioner, and his work has been a testament to his commitment to speaking up for other people. A life well lived Lawrence, rest easy. Lesley.
